Can anyone tell me how to remove the 'hijack' programme 'Casclient' from my comp

I've tried all the 'usual' adware removers to no avail. Anyone who has had success with this annoyance, please tell me how.

Unfortunately browser hijacks can be very difficult to clear, if you are running Windows XP then you need to turn off System Restore as there'll be backup files lurking there so it can re-install itself.

Then restart your system in safe mode and run the following from there;

To start in safe mode, press the F8 key repeatedly just after the bios screen comes up but before Windows loads.

If you're successful (and you might not be first time, just try again) then the pc will run a bit slower than usual, and the screen will be running at 800 x 600 so it'll look drastically different.

Log on as an administrator and run all your security software.

Then restart, if you've been successful then turn on System Restore and off you go.

But if it hasn't worked then you need to join a specialist technical forum and get specific instructions on how to remove this; you can try googling for it, and Microsoft have a help forum also.
