How do i remover Netproject?

my antivirus is being pelted with dozens of trojan, adware, spyware crap from this folder/program NetProject. c/program files/netproject. It seems to be mimicking a windows security something, that's what its icons look like anyways. I searched for an hour online to find anything about this thing but i can find ANYTHING. What the hell is this, its not on my add/remove programs list, and i don't want to just delete the folder in case that makes more problems. PLZ HELP

I have had the same problem. Make sure your Norton or whatever including Spybot or a similiar mal-ware program is up to date, do a system scan AFTER you turn off your system restore. Run them, and they may find or not find something. Then reboot, hit F8 and go into safe mode. Look in your Programs File for a folder call Net Project and delete it. Reboot machine. Now this may not work for everyone on the list because there are various forms of this bug. But that is what I had and did. Stan

To the last guy- nice job on the "stop downloading porn"- i got this at work there jerky- looked like any old update to me since it came as a pop-up associated with a drug website- and since i'm a pharamcist, i think i'm allowed to look at drug information websites right? just checking. Report It
