Help! I need a free virus-removal program, where can I find one?

I desperately need a good virus remover. I think my computer has a virus and my McAfee (It's outdated sadly) won't pick it up. I tried my spy-bot search and destroy, it came up with nothing, too. But I know for sure I have adware. Help! How can I get rid of this? Please, someone help!

You need all of the following, no single program can remove and protect you from everything. Also If your computer is too corrupted you may need More than what's below.

In severe cases a re-formatting is necessary, BUT ONLY severe cases. (%26lt;--the easy way out)

I use all of the following Free software with Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer with MSN toolbar and the pop-up blocker turned on and have never had a single problem with my computer sense Microsoft came out with SP2.
