Help! I can't get rid of this stupid ineffective keylogger!?

I downloaded a free keylogger, and the stupid thing is ineffective, NOT stealthy at ALL, and just plain ridiculous! Now, however, I can't get rid of it - the .exe file itself went away easily enough, but it's left .dll's and .dat's that NONE of the remover's I've tried can remove (ie. "Cannot clean; file in use or write-protected" error messages.

I'm running XP on a P3, with McAfee, Spybot S%26D, and AdWare.

hope you have uninstalled the program . please make a note of the files that you need to remove then go to system registry by typing regedit in start menu run and then click on run button finally when the registry editor has popped up. please click on my computer and press F3 button and find the files associated with the trouble. then delete the registry values. be carefull. do not delete the system associated files. so that it may create you new problem. then restart your computer so that you will have no more trouble.

Use this . This is a very aggresive one preferably at safe mode

Log into Safe-Mode and uninstall/delete it from there. That should get rid of it without having to worry about the File in use exception that is popping.
Try rebooting in safe mode(f+8) then try removing the file.
