Help! I think my computer has a virus or adware or something!?

Everytime I try and use the internet it is very noticeably SLOW. I have high speed internet and it is taking minutes to load a single page. And like 5 different pop ups keep coming up saying that I have spyware or something and they are all advertising spyware removers. What should I do?

Get yourself a couple of good spyware cleaners. I recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free. After you've downloaded and got the latest updates for both restart your computer in "safe mode". This way any spyware that may be on your computer won't be running. Do each spyware scan one at a time while in "safe mode". Also do a virus scan after that. Hopefully that should slove the problem. See the links below.
