How can I remove trojan Downloader.Generic6.AEPH ?

I've been experiencing adware pop-ups lately. Occasionally, AVG warning window popped up and said that a certain file on my computer is infected with a Trojan Horse called "Downloader.Generic6.AEPH".

I tried a several spyware remover such as Spybot, Advance Window Care, and even scanned my system with AVG. The problem still not resolved. Somehow I think these programs did not detect the infection. What can I do ? Please help !!!!!

Use some other software. Norton, Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
Well, Spybot, Windows OneCare and AVG unfortunately are not good enough software to get rid of viruses. You should research on other antivirus solutions. Here's a start: http://filehippo.com/software/antivirus/

Hint: the first two programs in the list are the best.
Hello,

It sounds like you are infected with a trojan. So I think you are having a hard time because trojan's are not exactly viruses. So most anti-virus programs will not remove them, because they do not see them as viruses.
